The Uvalde, Texas police response to the recent school shooting is proving to have been shockingly and jaw-droppingly incompetent, as officers milled around doing nothing for practically an hour as children were being gunned down in one of the classrooms. Now police are looking to point the finger of blame for their own cowardice at anyone else, including teachers for failing to secure the school’s door prior to the shooter’s arrival.
