Twitter suspends account providing updates on trial of Jeffrey Epstein’s former confidante Ghislaine Maxwell

Twitter has been heavily criticised after the social media giant suspended an account that was posting updates of the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, the disgraced English socialite and former associate and confidante of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The tech company claimed the account was violating the organisation’s “platform manipulation and spam.” Twitter has been criticised from both sides of the political spectrum, with both liberals and conservatives accusing the platform of censorship.
